Making sure DirectX9.c is installed by downloading a copy from the web and also trying the DirectX installer on the disk.
According to the task manager the application was shown and then stopped and disappeared all within milliseconds. No ERRORS! Then I ran the program again and view it in the task manager. I doubled click on the application like before, I clicked 'yes' to run it as an administer but then nothing happened. I then went on the web to do some research on the topic and found out that for some reason windows 7 had some problems with folder permissions and it said to run the file as an administrator. I like the command and conquer series, but recently C&C Generals ZH stopped working! It was installed onto my computer a year ago and worked, fine until this month! I double click on the application and then it says 'Access Denied Please login with administrator privileges and try again'.
